TIME
There are endless opportunities to volunteer and there is always a need for
whatever you choose to contribute.
BUILDING MATERIALS & APPLIANCES
Material costs are our largest expense every year as there are never
enough donated materials for our growing program.
New building materials such as lumber, paint, paint brushes, carpeting, windows,
doors, hardware, appliances etc. are always in high demand.
Though it is hard to imagine, many of our clients are in need of appliances
(dishwasher, washer, dryer, stove, refrigerator, oven etc.), as well as sinks,
tubs, doors, furnaces and much more. Please note, if you have such items to
donate, they need to be either new or in good working condition.
FINANCIAL
Every donation, large or small, is very important to our program. We work
very hard to make sure we maximize the return on our limited funds. We have
consistently been able to leverage every dollar donated into $3.00 or more
thanks to the donation of materials and skilled workers time.
Consider this:
If every person (all ages) living in Marin County donated $1 to RT Marin,
we would immediately raise $ 250,000.00.
